HR Manager

Malta  |  €40,000 - €45,000 

Our client, a local and well established company within the Manufacturing/FMCG Industry is recruiting for an HR Manager to report to the CEO. The responsibilities here will include;

  • Being responsible for the company’s human resource system
  • Optimising current HR Policies/Procedures whilst constantly working on drafting and implementing new ones
  • Planning for and actively working on recruitment, maintaining constant liaison with the heads of departments to identify gaps and recruitment needs
  • Support with the onboarding, engagement and termination of staff
  • Handling employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
  • Promoting a positive team culture and strengthening relations with stakeholders
  • Handling all employee matters including retention, incentive plans, career growth and motivation
  • Driving HR Projects such as Succession Planning, Performance management, reward and recognition programs, as well as training and development

 

 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR Management experience is required, whilst industry experience is seen as a plus.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and effective leadership skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Maltese language.
  • Familiarity / knowledge of Payroll processes would be an asset.
  • Result-driven and proactive in order to drive projects to completion.
  • A good track record in the ability to develop and to implement strategic business and HR objectives.
  • Possess a hands-on approach to work and demonstrate the ability to interact well in a dynamic environment.

Education & Experience

  • Masters Degree in HR, Organisational Psychology or Business Administration
  • Extensive knowledge of the Maltese Employment Law.
