HR Manager

Malta  |  €30,000 - €40,000 

Our Client is an international Group of companies within the Aviation industry, specializing in Cargo. The company is experiencing a significant growth in Europe and as a result they have set up an office here in Malta and are looking at recruiting an HR Manager to assume the responsibility for the company's HR Function. The duties here include;

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, having a holistic responsibility of the whole candidates journey
  • Summoning candidates, conducting personal interviews, credibility testing and coordinating diagnosis/results
  • Negotiating of salaries, contracts and other employee agreements whilst updating relevant records
  • Onboarding and termination of employees 
  • Payroll Administration 
  • Overseeing the HR Operations systems and processes, by developing and implementing HR Policies and procedures
  • Coordinating events as necessary and devising creative ways to attract candidates through vacancy advertisements 
  • Manage training and assess development needs to support current and future business growth 
  • Lead Disciplinary Processes
  • Assisting (where necessary) the CEO with daily administrative duties 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role is required, whilst having hands-on recruitment experience is a major plus
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in English (Verbal & Written)
  • Detail oriented and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Must demonstrate a good level of initiative and assertiveness

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a relative to the field is required whilst having a Master's level of education is seen as an advantage
  • Knowledge of Maltese Employment Law is a must
