HR Manager

Malta

In this role of Human Resources Manager (HR) you will be responsible for developing and leading all HR functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be accountable for:

  • Providing insight and supporting the deployment of HR strategies, policies and corporate initiatives in line with company goals
  • Preparing and implementing HR budgets, while overseeing employee compensation and benefits
  • Promoting a positive team culture and strengthening relations with stakeholders as well as the brand name
  • Handling employee relations including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, training needs analysis
  • Coordinating training programs, recruitment and training and development
  • Monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR issues, opportunities and development plans with agreed formats and timescales
  • Managing and auditing the HR Management System and ensuring that the database is updated
  • Other duties will include resourcing, performance management, reward and recognition programs and supporting in external and internal branding of organization
     

Education and Experience

The vacancy requires:

  • A Degree in Human Resources or related subjects
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience within the HR Department at Assistant Managerial level or better
  • Strong IT Skills, coupled with in depth knowledge of MS Office
  • Native level of Maltese and professional level of English is a must
  • An in-depth knowledge of HR procedures and employment law in Malta
  • A hands on approach to work
