HR Manager

Malta

As a Human Resources Manager, you will be acting in an advisory level working for the attainment of the Company’s strategic objectives through its people. Your main duties will include:-

  • Contribute to existing and new HR Strategies and Procedures such as grievance procedures, performance management and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure HR practices are fairly applied and act as support to employee issues to establish and maintain well-grounded employee relations
  • Champion reward activities and internal HR processes such as Talent and Pay reviews
  • Manage Recruitment and Engagement Planning along with departmental managers 
  • Identify and support Organisational Development and Change Management
  • Support and Coach in each step of the performance and talent management

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related areas a must 
  • A Master’s Degree within a related field would be preferable
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Experience within a unionised environment preferred
  • Certified with the Maltese Employment Law Course with a solid knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations

Skills

  • Native level of Maltese and good understanding of English
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and a problem solver
  • Good at relationship building 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
