HR Manager - Malta

In this position of a HR Manager  and forming part of the Senior Management Team you will be report to the Regional HR Director and General Manager.and as part of the executive management team to be involved in the development and implementation of business strategy inline with the Regional and Group HR strategy and standards


  • You will guide and coach line and middle management as well as HR employees on best practice and practical solutions.
  • Be required to oversee the recruitment process and provision of screening to all employees along with providing HR input to tenders and customer contracts.
  • Identifying and implementing Best People/HR initiatives that enable the achievement of the commercial objectives.
  • Management performance through coaching line managers to be effective people managers.
  • To maintain and develop HR systems in order that the HR team can effectively support the business.s.
  • Succession planning for management and support positions. Identify training needs and develop training solutions as required.
  • You will provide employment law advice, both remotely and face to face in complex situations including labour courts.
  • Introduce process improvements to reduce costs or improve service levels along with providing management information and HR KPI measure

    Skills & Experience:
  • A University degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Business Administration or related field
  • A solid proven background within HR at a management level including hands-on expertise in social security, regulations, labour law (disciplinary I grievance / redundancy  and  ill health issues)
  • learning and development, training needs analysis to delivery of training, for both blue and white collar workforce
  • Experience in working in the areas of talent identification and management
  • Experience in working in an international environment in the service industry
  • Well organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Excellent communication and listening skills in English and Maltese
