HR / Human Resource Officer


Following growth, our client is looking to recruit an Human Resources Officer. The role will include involvement within the full life cycle of employees.  Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Overseeing the recruitment and selection process from start to finish: job descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies / candidates, advertising, screening of applications, interviews
  • Onboarding:  online applications with jobs plus and internal processes
  • Drafting of employment contracts and any addendums
  • Assisting with work permits when needed
  • Engagement surveys
  • Training: analysing needs, applying for relevant grants
  • Ensuring employee records are kept up to date
  • Exemplify company values
  • Liaise with management and staff members in relation to HR matters
  • Supporting with ad hoc projects related to events, awards and other

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in HR Management is needed, however, a Degree is preferred
  • 2 years experience in a similar role is a must
  • Working knowledge of the Maltese Employment Law is needed
  • Prior experience of working within a corporate and multicultural environment would be an asset
  • Native level of Maltese is preferred, however, a fluency level of English is a must
  • IT Savvy - MS Office and creating presentations

  • High level of integrity
