Our client, one of the leading manufacturing companies in Malta, is currently looking for an HR Business Partner. The responsibilities include:
- Setting organisational design and development plans
- Liaising with Unions when required
- Management of Employee handbook and all policies ensuring relevance to current requirements and legislation
- Handling employee matters including retention, incentive plans and motivation
- Coordinating with other departments to enhance Company image as an Employer of Choice
- Coordinating the onboarding program for new employees and ensuring consistency and collaboration, promoting company vision and values
- Identifying training needs through Training Needs Analysis exercise, regular appraisals and One-to-One meetings
- Assisting in recruitment whenever necessary
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Certified with the Maltese Employment Law Course with a solid knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations
- Knowledge of HRMS and Office software
- Union experience is a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Good at relationship building
- Organised and good at project management
Education & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related areas
- Native level of Maltese and good understanding of English
