HR Business Partner

Malta

As the Human Resources Business Partner you will be reporting to the interim Head of HR.  In this job you will be expected to develop relationships at all levels and deliver comprehensive and effective HR solutions across the group as per the HR road map. Your main duties will be as follows (not limited to):

  • Contribute to and execute HR Strategies though the liaising with management and employees alike;
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and ensure HR practises are fairly applied;
  • Manage organisational development and design;
  • Salary benchmarking and other duties related to compensation and benefits;
  • Acting as a change agent by critically reviewing, proposing and driving continuous improvement techniques;
  • Support with engagement planning and other related duties;
  • Establish and maintain well-grounded employee relations as well as resolve complex employee relations issues;
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build an employer brand and increase productivity and retention;
  • Workforce reporting and succession planning;
     

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related areas a must
  • 5 years experience in a similar role is a must, with experience within the manufacturing industry seen as a plus
  • Aware of manufacturing related terms
  • Experience within a unionised environment
  • Certified with the Maltese Employment Law Course with a solid knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations
  • Proficient with hands on experience in MS Office

  • Native level of Maltese and good understanding of English
  • Strong business acumen
  • Analytical and problem solver
  • Good at relationship building (all levels)
  • Organised and good at project management
