HR Assistant

  North of Malta  |  €20,000 - €21,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for an HR Assistant.. Your roles and responsibilities are: 

  • Preparing employment contracts and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of staff records
  • Producing references and certificates
  • Maintaining correspondence for all disciplinary actions
  • Assessing travel expenses for the regional distribution center
  • Evaluating the quality and accuracy of work hour records (time sheets)
  • Summarizing and transmitting all relevant staff and accounting data to the HR department at Head Office
  • Receiving, distributing, and forwarding staff reports and documents
  • Administering access cards
  • Organizing and maintaining personnel records
  • Updating internal HR databases and preparing HR documents
  • Ensuring legal compliance in all HR-related matters
  • Organising, preparing and participating in recruitment activities, job fairs and in-house recruitment events
  • Advertising job vacancies on the company's careers page, social media and internal communication channels
  • Drafting and updating job descriptions; and screening and processing job applications
  • Overseeing application process management (correspondence, telephone calls, follow-up with applicants)
  • Sorting applications according to job specifications; and sourcing potential candidates from various channels
  • Providing shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Collaborating with managers to identify future hiring needs

Requirements

  • luent in English in both verbal and written and ideally Italian
  • Capable of working on own initiative and in a team environment
  • ECDL literate
  • Organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects

Education and Experience

  • Secondary level of education
