We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our clients' team as an HR Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. You will be expected to maintain personnel records, assist in the recruitment process, and provide general clerical support. Reporting to the HR Executive, your duties will include;
• Maintaining personnel records and ensuring accuracy of data
• Assisting in the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and conducting background checks
• Assisting in the onboarding process for new hires, especially with engagement documentations and work permit processes for third country nationals
• Preparing and maintaining HR documents and reports
• Assisting with payroll and benefits administration
• Participating in HR projects and initiatives
• Providing regular input to the Human Resources Executive regarding Health & Safety issues, policies and procedures for the improvement of the system
• Organizing, coordinating training of employees and keep training log sheets updated with any certificates pertaining to employee training records
• Assisting in organising the Company’s social events including CSR days whilst actively participate in their promotion and attending when possible
• Previous exposure to HR is necessary
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese (Verbal and Written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other IT tools
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
