HR & Admin Assistant (part-time)

A new role of HR & Admin Assistant (part-time) is now available within the manufacturing industry. Working closely with the HR team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling the recruitment cycle from the beginning until contract stage
  • Meeting section chiefs and managers to discuss feedback about new vacancies
  • Discussing salaries and other conditions of work with the HR Manager
  • Polishing job descriptions received from managers and sending them out to various recruitment agencies
  • Acting as an efficient go-between for internal parties and agencies for shortlisting, interview scheduling, filtering and follow ups
  • Keeping regular contact with all agencies with feedback and concerns
  • Contacting direct candidates for those vacancies which are opened for direct recruitment
  • Attending interviews
  • Preparing and sending out job offers
  • Assisting the HR Manager in ad-hoc tasks when required

Working Hours: 20 hours on a flexible basis with most hours falling between 09:00-14:00hrs 

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an administrative role, ideally in an HR department
  • Previous experience in recruitment will be considered a strong asset
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English
