Head of Human Resources

  Central Malta  |  €80,000 - €110,000  

Our client is one of the leading companies in Malta.  They would like to engage a Head Of Human Resources who will be reporting directly into the CEO

The Role

  • You will lead the formulation of the Human Resources(HR) strategy and its implementation
  • You will lead a strong, fully functional HR team
  • Be the go between between management, staff and HR Team
  • You will be part of the Senior Management team and apart from HR, you will also be part of the Business decision making process
  • You will ensure that all HR tasks are handled efficiently and within established timeframes
  • You will be the main contact person for union representatives and will be the chief negotiator on collective agreements
  • Managing restructuring exercises
  • You will sit on disciplinaries when necessary
  • Handling all the necessary training
  • You will sit on a number of committees

Salary is dependent on experience

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • You will have at least 3 years of HR experience at a Senior Management level
  • You must be good with numbers and have experience with handling/interpreting large amounts of data
  • Have experience in handling relationships/negotiations with Unions
  • Have excellent people skills
  • Have excellent leadership skills
  • Be ethical and loyal
  • You can handle pressure and be flexible
  • Be open to feedback from all stakeholders including direct reports
  • Be ready to travel on work
  • Be ready to challenge the status quo
  • Love growing the HR team/company staff members in their careers

Education & Experience

Preferably have a Degree/Masters in Human Resources
