Our client is one of the leading companies in Malta. They would like to engage a Head Of Human Resources who will be reporting directly into the CEO
The Role
- You will lead the formulation of the Human Resources(HR) strategy and its implementation
- You will lead a strong, fully functional HR team
- Be the go between between management, staff and HR Team
- You will be part of the Senior Management team and apart from HR, you will also be part of the Business decision making process
- You will ensure that all HR tasks are handled efficiently and within established timeframes
- You will be the main contact person for union representatives and will be the chief negotiator on collective agreements
- Managing restructuring exercises
- You will sit on disciplinaries when necessary
- Handling all the necessary training
- You will sit on a number of committees
Salary is dependent on experience
Skill-sets and Requirements
- You will have at least 3 years of HR experience at a Senior Management level
- You must be good with numbers and have experience with handling/interpreting large amounts of data
- Have experience in handling relationships/negotiations with Unions
- Have excellent people skills
- Have excellent leadership skills
- Be ethical and loyal
- You can handle pressure and be flexible
- Be open to feedback from all stakeholders including direct reports
- Be ready to travel on work
- Be ready to challenge the status quo
- Love growing the HR team/company staff members in their careers
Education & Experience
Preferably have a Degree/Masters in Human Resources
