Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to set-up the Group's HR department. You will be responsible to provide strategic HR support to a designated business group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment and guidance to line managers, ensuring that the HR strategies of the business are implemented, and driving the development of a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and line managers
- Support the development of HR strategies, policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives
- Implement and monitor performance management processes
- Support the development of a high-performance culture
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and make recommendations
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Facilitate training and development programs
- Manage employee relations issues
- Manage staff schedules
- Support the implementation of a new HRIS
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of Maltese Employment Law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
