Director of HR

Malta  |  €50,000 - €60,000 

Our Client, a reputable company within the Hospitality and Leisure industry is seeking to recruit a Director of HR to head the HR Function, whilst reporting to the General Manager. The duties here include;

  • Driving the HR function including the full employee cycle, from Talent Acquisition to employee wellbeing and development
  • Form and maintain strong working relationships with employees at all levels and drive quality through engagement, training and development as well as effective recruitment​
  • build effective business partnerships with all staff and external stakeholders, providing heads of department with support and full range of HR services and activities
  • Design and coordinate the colleague’s performance management system ensuring that colleagues have the right skillsets and receive the development they need to achieve company goals
  • Create an atmosphere that is aligned with the company’s vision, ensuring that employee wellness, culture and morale are maintained.
  • Overseeing HR administration and reporting

 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Proven experience in a strategic HR function, whilst industry-specific experience is seen as a plus
  • Excellent knowledge and grasp of Maltese Labour Law
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Education & Experience

Tertiary level of Education, ideally within an HR field
