Candidate Engagement Manager

In this role you will be responsible to assist in the sourcing and engagement of international partners with the aim to grow and maintain a healthy candidate pipeline to support our recruitment efforts. The selected candidate will play a key role in expanding our candidate pool and building strategic partnerships to enhance our recruitment capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the recruitment team to develop tailored outreach strategies for specific positions and industries
- Identifying and researching potential countries and channels to source candidates, including online platforms, networking events, and referral programs
- Negotiating and establishing partnerships that align with our recruitment objectives
- Reaching out to prospective candidates via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce our organisation and job opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with candidates to understand their skills, experience, and career goals
- Developing and maintaining a database of potential candidates, maintaining communication and engagement activities
- Identifying and pursuing partnership opportunities with educational institutions, job training programs, and other organisations to source qualified candidates
- Providing regular updates and reports on candidate outreach and partnership activities to management
- Providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure candidate engagement specialists are effectively engaging with candidates
- Ensuring that all team members consistently meet their KPIs by providing guidance, support, and addressing instances of low performance in a timely and constructive manner
- Monitoring team data regularly, identifying stale or pending information and taking corrective action to ensure processes remain efficient and accurate
- Assisting in prescreening and conducting interviews as needed, ensuring high-quality candidate selection and timely progress on recruitment projects
- Assisting with designing and implementing workflows to ensure that the necessary processes are in place for the team to function effectively
- Establishing best practices and guidelines for candidate outreach, engagement, and relationship-building
- Ensuring that social media platforms are continuously active in a bid to engage with our potential audience
- Collaborating with other teams who work on sourcing international candidates for EUAA purposes if needed to provide additional sourcing capacity during peak hiring periods
Requirements
- Willingness and availability to travel internationally for job fairs and networking events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulations will be considered an asset
Education and Experience
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or business development
