EHS Officer


Within this Environmental Health & Safety Officer job, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing all EHS issues relating to the functions of the company
  • Ensuring all safety, policies and legislations are adhered to and adopted
  • Offering actionable recommendations to address potential H&S shortcomings
  • Planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing protective and preventive measures required by the company
  • Liaising and working closely with the HR Department to plan annual EHS training
  • Delivering and organising training courses to improve EHS awareness and knowledge amongst employees

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to lead different departments in achieving EHS objectives
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

Education & Experience

  • A Degree in Health & Safety or Environmental Science and a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Sound knowledge of Local H&S Legislations 
  • Previous experience in writing SOPs and flowcharts will be considered an asset
