Within this position of Nurse Manager, you will be called to support in the operations of one of the leading Residential and Nursing Homes in Malta. Reporting to the Facilities Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating the nursing staff
- Supervising staff by monitoring the distribution of medications and other elements of patient care
- Maintaining duty rosters ensuring efficient and effective use of manpower
- Ensure that all codes of conduct are implemented and monitored
- Creating, suggesting and implementing new practices and procedures
- Ascertaining high levels of customer satisfaction at all times
Education and Experience
The vacancy requires:
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing or equivalent
- Nursing experience is considered as an asset
- Valid Council for Nurses and Midwives (CNM) registration number
Skills
- Be customer oriented, with the ability able to work on own initiative and within a team
- Possess a trustworthy, pro-active and pleasant personality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Fluency in Maltese is considered an asset
