Within this job of a Retail Manager you will be reporting to the GM directly. It is a job for a candidate who is passionate about wines and spirits and has the attitude and skill set to drive sales, control costs and ensure the daily operations run smoothly whilst leading a high performance team. Main duties are as follows:
- Manage the outlet: strategies and customer care standards
- Build excellent relationships with key stakeholders in the business
- Lead and coordinate events
- Manage, motivate and train staff
- Ensure the outlet/s are clean and properly maintained
- Preparation of forecast and analysis of data to ensure profitability and goals are met
- Addressing customer complaints and queries
- Managing the online sales: maximising sales whilst ensuring an efficient and reliable customer experience
- Contributing and coordinating with the marketing plans
- Other ad hoc projects
Education and Experience
- A Degree or professional business qualification is preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience within retail sales marketing
- Knowledgeable of visual merchandising
- Good knowledge of wines and spirits is a must
- Have a proven track record with client management
- Proficient in both Maltese and English
- IT Savvy
