Retail Manager


Within this job of a Retail Manager you will be reporting to the GM directly.  It is a job for a candidate who is passionate about wines and spirits and has the attitude and skill set to drive sales, control costs and ensure the daily operations run smoothly whilst leading a high performance team.   Main duties are as follows:

  • Manage the outlet:  strategies and customer care standards 
  • Build excellent relationships with key stakeholders in the business
  • Lead and coordinate events
  • Manage, motivate and train staff
  • Ensure the outlet/s are clean and properly maintained
  • Preparation of forecast and analysis of data to ensure profitability and goals are met
  • Addressing customer complaints and queries
  • Managing the online sales: maximising sales whilst ensuring an efficient and reliable customer experience
  • Contributing and coordinating with the marketing plans
  • Other ad hoc projects

Education and Experience

  • A Degree or professional business qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience within retail sales marketing
  • Knowledgeable of visual merchandising
  • Good knowledge of wines and spirits is a must
  • Have a proven track record with client management
  • Proficient in both Maltese and English
  • IT Savvy


  • Energetic, driven and a good influencer
  • Good leadership skills
  • Analytical and good with numbers
