Our client, an international company distributing wellness products is recruiting for an Operations Executive to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the director, your duties will include;
- Efficiently allocating and overseeing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.
- Continuously analysing and enhancing operational processes for increased efficiency, waste reduction, and overall productivity improvement.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance, making data-driven decisions for ongoing improvement.
- Implementing and supervising quality control measures to uphold consistent product or service quality that meets or surpasses customer expectations.
- Developing and managing budgets for operational expenses, ensuring expenditures align with organizational goals and stay within allocated limits.
- Identifying potential operational risks, formulating strategies to mitigate them, and ensuring business continuity while minimizing disruptions.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to guarantee a reliable supply chain and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Promoting effective communication and collaboration among various departments to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of goals.
- Contributing to the creation of long-term operational strategies that align with the organization's overarching goals and growth plans.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Experience in operations, team management, and process improvement is highly valuable.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English, are important for conveying ideas, instructions, and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial
- The ability to adapt to new situations and manage time effectively is critical to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets
- Currently based in Malta
Education & Experience
A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as business management, operations management, supply chain management, or a related discipline is often required.
