Our company operates in the hospitality industry and as they are growing they would like to engage a General Manager. You will directly report into the Board of Directors.
The Role
Manage all company operations and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and the industry.
Drive business growth, client satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Implement and monitor KPIs to ensure the company's profitability and long-term success.
Develop and implement long-term and annual business plans.
Retain and expand client relationships, create new revenue streams, and form strategic alliances.
Lead the team to achieve sales targets and handle customer inquiries.
Negotiate contracts and manage company finances, including budgeting and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
Oversee marketing efforts and represent the company at industry events.
Manage HR functions, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
Maintain company facilities and ensure Occupational Health & Safety standards.
Requirements
Proven leadership skills with experience in financial management and strategic planning.
Strong decision-making abilities, interpersonal skills, and customer service orientation
Knowledge of travel technology is considered as an asset
Have experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality, and experience in a leadership role within a DMC or similar environment - A MUST
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
