Our client, a leading automotive company in Malta, are looking for an Assistant General Manager to join their growing team. Your main duties are to assist the general manager in the overall development, performance and maintenance of the organisation’s activities thus contributing towards achieving the maximum efficiency, quality, service, and profitability.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the efficient running of the organisation.
- Assisting in the training and development of staff.
- Assisting in achieving maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organisation policy.
- Assisting in managing, directing, and monitoring the overall performance of the organisation.
- Maintaining and improving mechanisms for organisation activities, including analysing, and measuring the operations, process, outcomes, and profitability and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.
- Presenting reports to top management.
- Controlling expenses to comply with budgetary controls
- Interacting and co-operating with all members of the organisation, its suppliers, and customers.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Good understanding of financial statements, finance processes and procedures
- Experienced in the use of common business IT programs like Office365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of business processes and management
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar
- Previous management experience within the automotive sector is preferred
