Supply Chain Specialist

  South of Malta  |  €23,000 - €28,000 Annually 

Our client is looking for new talent. Reporting directly to the Customer Support and Distribution Manager your responsibiulities incude:

  • Responsible for ensuring timely and complete deliveries that meet customer requirements. Collaborates with departments, Business Development, and customers to manage any changes in the plan.
  • Facilitates effective communication regarding issues, concerns, and procedures that impact customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that customers have clear visibility of the current valid supply plan and monitors delivery commitments in terms of quantities and timelines, in accordance with the Manufacturing Service Agreement terms.
  • Enters orders and forecasts and maintains up-to-date customer order requests in the ERP system.
  • Manages order change requests as the point of contact.
  • Communicates customer requests for artwork changes to the Material Planner.
  • Routinely requests updated customer forecasts and updates them in SAP.
  • Handles entry and management of Product Data Sheets (PDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS).
  • Utilizes the Shipment Tracker to define the distribution plan, ensuring input from QA, production, and planning.
  • Prepares necessary documentation for exporting goods to support timely collections.
  • Manages custom clearance processes and handles related inquiries.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for transport-related complaints.
  • Facilitates communication between Business Development, the site, and shipping.
  • Acts as the point of contact for local-level Freight Forwarders and monitors appointments.
  • Maintains regular communication with customers to support the organization of their collections.
  • Processes documentation required for sales recognition, including generating invoices, packing lists, and recording revenues in SAP.
  • Adheres to and stays updated on current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) rules as outlined in relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Follows company safety rules and regulations.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Proficiency in using SAP or other business management software is a must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to meet business demands and implement actions accordingly.
  • Strong communication skills in both English & Maltese

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree / diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Previous relevant experience or a combination of relevant qualifications and experience.
