A client of ours, operating within the aviation industry is seeking to recruit a strategically-minded Business Analyst to join their growing team. The selected person will have the following responsibilities:
- Building budgets, managing profit reports whilst controlling income and expenses
- Setting up of prices whilst assisting and preparing business forecasts
- Working on multiple systems and enhancing them when required
- Collaborating and liaising with all the departments within the organization to drive company decisions
- Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources and ensuring such data is maintained on the system
- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Thriving in being creative and understanding whilst seeking enhancements to reporting systems
- Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tracking of production reports and KPI’s.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience within accounting or FP&A
- Familiarity with the priority system, as well as the Quick View System (BI system) will be considered an asset
- Proficiency in Excel
- Highly strategic and analytical with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is a must
