Evaluation Assistant ( Temporary )

Within this Evaluation Assistant role, you will be forming part of the company’s Department of Operations. Your main duties will include:

  • Supporting the organisation and contribute to the preparation of thematic and operational evaluations 
  • Provide editing and data analysis and support the overall review (scientific, technical, dissemination and exploitation) as well as the quality of evaluations
  • Contribute to the evaluation interventions and provide the organization with relevant feedback on project results
  • Participate in exchanges and consultations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of monitoring and other quantitative and qualitative data as well as the updating of relevant guidelines and tools
  • Organization of events and participation in meetings and any other relevant tasks in relation to the achievement of the mission and objectives  

Education and Experience 

  • University degree in Economics, Law or Social Sciences or equivalent with strong focus on research and statistical analysis 
  • Minimum working experience of 1 year on research or programme evaluations ( Doctoral study can be considered equivalent) 

Skills

  • High level of proficiency in English
  • Good communication and drafting skills 
  • Able to work in a proactive, organized and to prioritise activities 
  • Ability to work within a team 
  • Having an eye for detail, accuracy and numeracy together with the ability to analyse and structure information 
  • Preferred advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or any other statistical data analysing software
