Our client, operating in the insurance industry is looking to recruit a Compliance Officer, to join their team:
- Monitor and assess the company’s compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Implement and manage the company’s compliance plan.
- Identify, investigate, and mitigate compliance risks.
- Advise management and staff on emerging compliance trends and regulatory changes.
- Develop and deliver compliance training to staff.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with external regulators and ensure timely submission of all regulatory filings.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all compliance activities.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of insurance legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and Maltese.
- uccessful completion of the PQ application process with the MFSA is considered an Asset.
Education and Experience
- Proven experience in the insurance industry with exposure to compliance roles.
- MQF Level 6 academic qualification(s) in Compliance, Financial Services Regulations, Law, or a relevant field.
