Business Analyst

A client of ours, operating within the aviation industry is seeking to recruit a strategically-minded Business Analyst to join their growing team. The selected person will have the following responsibilities:

• Building budgets, managing profit reports whilst controlling income and expenses
• Setting up of prices whilst assisting and preparing business forecasts
• Working on multiple systems and enhancing them when required
• Collaborating and liaising with all the departments within the organization to drive company decisions
• Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources and ensuring such data is maintained on the system
• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Thriving in being creative and understanding whilst seeking enhancements to reporting systems
• Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tracking of production reports and KPI’s.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Previous experience within accounting or FP&A
• Familiarity with the priority system, as well as the Quick View System (BI system) will be considered an asset
• Proficiency in Excel
• Highly strategic and analytical with the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on own initiative

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is a must
