Warranted Electrical Engineer

Malta  |  up to €45,850  

Reporting to Head of Engineering, the main duties of a Warranted Electrical Engineer are:

  • Assessing project requirements.
  • Producing electrical building services and extra low voltage engineering designs from concept design through to construction issue and undertake site supervision of design projects.
  • Designing and drawing using appropriate computer software (mainly ACAD) and drawing board methods.
  • Preparing technical specifications, reports and drawings.
  • Conducting site surveys, site inspections and condition surveys where appropriate.
  • Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Preparing the Bills of Quantities which list the individual components required to construct the project or any such building as assigned.
  • Representing the entity at meetings with clients and contractors.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • In possession of a clean driving license
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous and have an ability to work efficiently

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering MQF Level 6
  • Local warrant
  • Minimum 4 years experience within the construction industry
