Our client operating in food manufacturing is looking for a Technician to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the operational efficiency of the production facility
- Performing routine preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Planning and conducting maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery and equipment to the required standards
- Timely updating of the required maintenance and job-related
- Participating in the design, procurement, training, and installation of new plant, machinery and equipment as & when required
- Attending to equipment breakdowns emergencies in a timely manner and responsibly rectify any equipment failure to its normal operating status
Day Shift only from Monday to Saturday (Alternating Saturdays)
Shift 1: 05.00hrs till 13.30hrs
Shift 2: 08.00hrs till 16.30hrs
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Good communication skills in Maltese and English
- Able to work with minimum supervision as well as in a team
- Able to take initiative and work in a logical manner
- Computer literate with knowledge of using Microsoft Office
- Possess a valid driving license
Education & Experience
- Candidates with a relevant Diploma will be given preference
- Wireman’s license A & B will be considered an asset
