Site Engineer Assistant ( temporary)

Within this Site Engineer Assistant role, you will be forming part of the company’s General Affairs Sector. Your main duties will include:

  • Responsibilities in the field of structural, civil and mechanical engineering as assigned by resident engineer 
  • Align and coordinate all contractor activity according to maintenance planning 
  • Control and quality check activities of contractors on-site 
  • Verify job sheets, delivery notes, order forms of contractors 
  • Request and negotiate on quotations with contractors
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education and Experience 

  • University degree in Engineering / Junior Engineer preferably in one of the following fields: Structural Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering 
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical services in a larger institutional office environment of 100+ people or with a technical contractor
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment 

Skills

  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English 
  • Ability to observe high confidentiality 
  • Good communication skills

Candidates are to have no legal obligations to any civil contractor in Malta in terms of labor, contract or (co-) ownership or self-employed.
