Our client within the manufacturing industry is seeking to employ an Automation Engineer focused on Electronics to support with the optimization of their semi-automated operation. The successful candidate will form part of a small team while reporting directly to the Testing Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Build, Program and Re-Program Test equipment
- Propose and implement automated or software-oriented modifications for current manual procedures
- Build a new data collection infrastructure to gather PCB and Unit Testing data
- Extract data from production machines and identify trends
- Create custom software solutions capable of assisting day-to-day operations
- Provide technical assistance in software-related IT issues
Working Hours: Monday to Friday on Day Shift
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience working within testing, electronics and/or automation is ideal
- Organised and able to prioritise
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Technically oriented and good at problem solving
- Must be based in Malta
Education & Experience
- MQF Level 6 in Electrical Engineering / Electronics
- Fluency in Programming Languages is desired
