Our client, a food production company based in Gozo is looking for a Maintenance Technician.
In this job, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the general and preventive maintenance works which involve use and repairs of machinery, infrastructure and services equipment as well as fine tuning on production lines
- Assisting in the fabrication of machine parts and ensuring proper replacement and functionality
- Performing overhaul tasks of electrical/electronic, mechanical and pneumatic nature
- Keeping good communication with his superior and colleagues, while keeping them well informed on progress on projects assigned to him and reporting immediately any mishaps and actions that are required.
- Ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures including those of health and safety are always followed.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Good command in English, both verbal and written
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to work flexible hours
- Must be willing to relocate to Gozo
Education & Experience
- Diploma in either Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Preferably having Wireman’s Electrical License A and/or B
- Previous work experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
