Head of Engineering and Maintenance


As a Head of Engineering & Maintenance, you will be responsible for the technical sections within the Maintenance, Engineering, SHE and IT departments. Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Overseeing functions related to the planning, design, and implementation of facility and utility process/systems projects
  • Ensuring the effective execution of maintenance and repair activities of all facilities, utilities, equipment, and building grounds
  • Looking after the life-cyle, asset and risk management of all utilities and facilities related equipment 
  • Managing new investment projects which may include productivity improvement, OPEX cost improving, quality and safety improvement among others
  • Organising the maintenance department to be more effective and efficient with respect to production and logistics planning
  • Supervising the SHE function within the site, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance to policies and procedures


Education and Experience

You will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Engineering/Maintenance at Management level
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a major requirement for the roe 
  • Proficient level of English - both written and spoken
  • Living in Malta with EU Passport

  • Excellent leadership skills
