Field Engineer (Projects)

Our client, a leading international provider of energy management, guest room management and building management solutions is looking for a Field Engineer (Projects). Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

 

• Manage onsite installations, support, and servicing of energy management systems and equipment
• Plan daily works schedule, resources, and inputs required for projects execution by the team
• Conduct on-site surveys, formulate proposals, and design solutions according to client requirements
• Coordinate and carry out on-site troubleshooting and tests to provide support and resolve issues
• Manage and coordinate works with sub-contractors and third-party service providers
• Provide input for tenders and proposals with the documentation and BOQs as required
• Compile necessary documentation on service calls and installations through proper systems and reports
• Design rigorous quality testing of systems
• Provide training to internal and external stakeholders as required
•  Certify and sign off projects according to the contract of works
• Investigate client complaints and identify solutions
• Maintain excellent project documentation.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Excellent analytical skills, perseverance, and attention to detail.
• Proven experience as a Field Engineer and in managing project execution
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• In possession of a valid drives license
• Experience with Autocad for the production of drawings is considered an asset

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
