Engineer Assistant (temporary)

Within this Engineer Assistant (temporary) role you will be part of the department of Administration and you would be responsible for providing structural, civil, mechanical and electrical support as assigned by the resident engineer. Your main duties will include:

  • Aligning all contractor activity according to project planning,
  • Controlling and quality checking activities of civil contractors on-site
  • Verifying job sheets of external contractors, assure adherence to contractor deadlines
  • Coordinating maintenance activities as planned
  • Other duties as assigned


Education & Experience

  • A University Degree in Engineering: civil, electrical or mechanical 
  • Previous experience in the technical services industry or working with contractors would be preferred


Skills 

  • Possess very good communication skills in English (Maltese would be preferred)
  • Must have initiative, drive and able to prioritize
  • Able to work well both individually and in a team

Workdays could start as early as 7:00 am and work during the weekends should be expected in this position.
