Company Engineer (Electrical/BMS)

Our client is looking for a Company Engineer (Electrical/BMS), your roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Assist colleagues with technical inquiries and challenges, offering clear explanations of complex technical issues in simple terms for both non-technical staff and clients.
•  Provide technical support during the proposal and presentation phases, ensuring clients have a comprehensive understanding of technical aspects.
• Address client inquiries, concerns, and technical issues promptly after purchase, ensuring satisfaction and cultivating long-term client relationships. Maintain effective communication with suppliers related to these matters.
• Identify opportunities for organizational improvement by researching and proposing alternative solutions, products, or setups.
• Prepare or simplify documentation and instructions related to in-house engineered process solutions.
•  Supervise and manage the commissioning, operation, and handover of medium and low voltage switchgear panels exceeding 1000A.
• Occasionally assist team members with engineering projects, such as creating formulas in Excel, developing simple program scripts, or designing mechanical jigs.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to meeting project deadlines to deliver results in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and effectively manage multiple responsibilities
• Basic understanding of computer networks and the ability to setup communication with equipment via TCP/IP, point-to-point serial, and industry standard busses like MODbus

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering accompanied by an engineering warrant to work as an electrical engineer in conformity with the legal framework of Malta
• New graduates are welcome to apply. On the job training will be provided
