A well-established client of ours operating within Construction is searching for a Commercial Manager to join their tight-knit team. The chosen candidate will oversee the financial and commercial aspects of construction projects, with a particular focus on finishings. This comprises of managing budgets, contracts, and relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
- Develop, manage and oversee project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present them to stakeholders.
2. Contract Management:
- Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Resolve any contractual disputes promptly and efficiently.
3. Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects meet financial and quality goals.
- Oversee project timelines and schedules, adjusting as needed to accommodate changes.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
4. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

5. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all finishes and construction work meet industry standards and client specifications.
