Our client in the retail industry is looking to recruit a Stock Controller to join their growing team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the chosen candidate will:
Maintain the inventory system, including the creation of new stock cards, updating standard costs, and revising selling prices as necessary.
Schedule and execute perpetual stock-taking activities to ensure stock accuracy and accountability. This may require working beyond regular office hours.
Prepare and administer stock-taking reports for necessary adjustment approvals and ensure they are documented and processed in a timely manner.
Verify and process all goods received entries accurately and promptly into the inventory system.
Ensure all inventory-related processes and controls are strictly followed by relevant staff members.
Monitor and report on stock levels that fall outside of predefined thresholds, including overstock, stock-outs, or obsolete inventory.
Identify process gaps or control weaknesses and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control.
Produce and deliver various inventory and stock-related reports (e.g., stock supply, valuation) as requested by management.

Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime during stock-taking periods.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Education and Experience
Proven experience in inventory control, logistics, or related field.
Strong proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
Driving license will be given preference.
Must be in Malta, holding local expereince, fluent in both written and spoken English
