Technical Team Lead (1st Line Support)

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client who is a managed services provider is on the lookout for a Technical Team Lead managing the Tier 1 Support Team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the team is efficiently handling 1st level support requests either remotely or onsite.
  • Analysing and acknowledging the gaps within the team and working together to provide a constant and smooth service to clients.
  • Handling IT support relating technical issues that involve Microsoft's core business applications, together with virtual environments.
  • Handling support services for Microsoft related technologies such as Windows Server, SQL, Microsoft 365, etc.
  • Handling support disaster recovery solutions.
  • Handling technical support at the network level: WAN, LAN, routers etc.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with either leading or mentoring a team.
  • Experience working with Microsoft products.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
