Contact Centre Officer

€17,000 - €18,500  |  Malta

A Contact Centre Officer position is currently available with one of Malta's leading Banks. Reporting to the Senior Contact Centre Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending promptly and appropriately to inbound customers’ calls
  • Logging calls, annotating any follow-up, and making best effort to resolve queries in the first instance 
  • Guiding customers to make the most effective use of Bank’s services and promoting use of the Bank’s direct channels 
  • Achieving set levels of service and continuously strive to improve the quality of service
  • Ensuring compliance with Bank’s policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times
  • Performing standard office procedures including processing mail, answering phone calls, ordering supplies and filing


Education & Experience

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, in Maltese and English is a must
  • A diploma or degree level of education, ideally in a banking/finance related field or otherwise
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be considered as an asset

 

Skills

  • Must be customer oriented and possess problem solving skills
  • Reliable, organised, meticulous and prepared to work under pressure
  • Be team player while still being able to work independently when needed
  • Computer literate and conversant in MS Office applications


This role would be on an AM/PM shift basis from Monday to Saturday, the first shift would be from 7:45 - 14:30 and the second shift would be from 13:15 - 20:00.
