Aftersales Manager (Automotive)

As the After Sales Manager it will be your job to  plan, organise, direct and control all operations related to the Service and Administration aspect of the department while leading a team and liasing internally at management level.  Main responsibliities include:

  • Manage the daily operation of the Aftersales Department and provide assistance to the team as necessary
  • Ensure the department is profitable whilst still focusing on the customer care aspect
  • Manage all Warranties for the brands represented by the company
  • Handle and action all recalls and technical issues liaising with the Service and Training Manager as needed
  • Issue reports needed by top management within a timely manner
  • Ensure procedures are customer oriented and efficient
  • Deal with customer complaints with a professional and practical manner
  • Ensure that franchise standards are met all times (also being present during audits)

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an operational, administrative and/or customer oriented position
  • Direct experience within the automotive industry is preferred
  • Proficient in IT - Word and Excel
  • Passionate about cars
  • Good listener and problem solver
  • Customer oriented
  • Critical thinker

Education & Experience

  • Certification in Management and Leadership is desired with preference given to a Degree level
  • ECDL certified
