Key Account Manager (Aviation)

Our client, a growing aviation company forming part of an international group, is recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join their team in Malta, with the purpose of increasing group income and profit from the market by securing, locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with key strategic customers. Reporting to the VP Manager, you will be;

  • Managing organizational relationships with Strategic Key Customers, making sure the relationship is retained throughout
  • Playing an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Serving as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Ensuring the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Operating as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Forecasting and tracking client account metrics
  • Managing projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting organization’s goals
  • Identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Coordinating with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service globally
  • Collaborating with sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts (internal and external)
  • Servicing multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Keeping records of client transactions
  • Setting up SLA/SOP with GHA

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years in Account / Sales Management Positions Experience within the Aviation / Logistics industry, whilst Client/Stakeholder management experience is a must
  • Good project management skills, having the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Excellent communicator, able to Communicate Client Needs with Staff, Negotiate and influence
  • Confident and able to lead multiple teams in order to effectively carry out processes and push teams profesionally

Education & Experience

A Bachelors Degree Level of education within respective areas is essential
