Draughtsperson

Malta

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Draughtsperson will ensure the provision of a high level of customer service and technical support, by direct and indirect contact with all internal and external customers within the shelving and racking market. Moreover, your responsibilities include: 

  • Preparation of shop drawings and drafting of systems from concept to completion of design including costing, CAD drawings, material take offs and building off bill of materials
  • Coordinate design matters with Project Designers
  • Preparation process of tender proposals and quotations for service installations
  • Setting, monitoring and reviewing of workload schedule communicating issues with the respective manager
  • Maintaining technical and non-technical documents

Education & Experience

The vacancy requires:

  • Ideally holding a MCAST- BTEC Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment or the equivalent
  • Good knowledge of contract documentation & Autocad
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role is a must
