Due Diligence Officer

Malta

One of my clients are currently looking to grow their due diligence team and are recruiting Due Diligence Officers at both a junior and senior level.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in client engagement and the review of business relationships
  • Reviewing and assessing client risk on an ongoing basis
  • Assisting in the application of all relevant processes, procedures and policies relating to anti-money laundering
  • Identify potential issues with clients and escalate to superiors making suitable recommendations
  • Liaising with the overall due diligence team, ensuring that obligations are met. 

Education and Experience:

  • Previous local experience in compliance is essential, a minimum of a years experience for a junior position, three years for a senior position
  • A strong understanding of AML is essential

Skills:

  • Fluency in English is an essential consideration
  • Fluency in Maltese would be considered beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A willingness to learn new competencies
