Assistant Company Secretary

Malta  |  €38,000 - €45,000 

Our Client a well known local entity is seeking to recruit an Assistant Company Secretary to join their team;


  • Attending to the board requirements of four subsidiary companies within the group. This includes but is not limited to minute taking, resolutions, and follows ups on actions. 
  • Support the preparations of Annual Returns with the MBR and any other statutory requirements with MBR, MFSA, and The Malta Stock Exchange
  • Prepare and manage the annual general meetings of the parent company and subsidiaries
  • Manage the portfolio of the Group’s trademarks
  • Ensure compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework including the appropriate upkeep of registers

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Preferably have at least 3 years’ experience working for a listed company in a similar role or acting as a Company Secretary on behalf of a portfolio of clients
  • Good working knowledge of the Companies Act
  • Display strong IT, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • high level of planning and organization, show initiative and capable to work independently within challenging environments, while practicing high ethical standards at all times
