Manager - Risk & Compliance


A new role as a Manager - Risk & Compliance is available within the Insurance industry in Malta. The company operates for 35 hours a week instead of 40 hours, and you will also be granted health insurance and a pension scheme.


  • Overlooking and monitoring of compliance functions
  • Act as Anti-Money Laundering Officer
  • Compliance reporting on a quarterly basis 
  • Ensuring compliance with Insurance Legislation and Regulations
  • Draft annual compliance policy statement 
  • Compile Internal Audit reports on an ad-hoc basis
  • Provide Board (Sub Committee) meeting documentation 
  • Provide Solvency II updates
  • Handle Annual Submission to the MFSA 
  • Review Insurance, Compliance, and Finance checklists
  • Provide training to staff on regulations and procedures

Education and Experience:

  • A Degree in Accounts, Law, or Insurance
  • A minimum of 4 years of previous local experience working in a similar role
  • Experience in managing people and projects
  • Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English
