Compliance Executive

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client in the Fintech Industry is looking for a Compliance Executive to join their growing team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting the day to day monitoring 
  • Being the right hand of the Head of Compliance to ensure all is up to date with regulatory requirements 
  • Maintaining compliance registers, which include breaches log, complaints, as well as conflict of interest registers 
  • Supporting in the drafting, reviews, and updating the policies and procedures 
  • Supporting in the preparation of compliance reports
  • Assisting in the submission of information for supervisory returns and regulatory correspondence with MFSA
  • Supporting in the compliance training 
  • Monitoring regulatory developments, carrying out research and drafting briefing notes 
  • Providing administrative and technical support for audits and inspections 
  • Supporting in the day to day 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience working in compliance locally
  • Previous experience in Fintech or Financial Services
  • Excellent verbal and written Maltese and English

Education and Experience

  • A Degree Level of Education is preferred
