Our client is seeking to recruit a Compliance Executive to form part of its growing team.

Within this position, the chosen candidate will be reporting to the Head of Compliance / MLRO.

Responsibilities:

Act as Deputy MLRO, including external reporting to regulators and industry body such as suspicious activity reports in the absence of the MLRO.
Supporting the MLRO in meetings with external auditors and regulators.
Ensuring optimum relationship management and reporting to relevant authorities.
Ensuring that the company remains up to date with regulatory change.
Preparing regular management information reports for distribution to the MLRO and Senior Management accordingly.
Conducting regular monitoring, testing, and reporting on the effectiveness of the AML/CTF program.
Responsible for the training of the company's employees on AML/CFT and compliance-related matters and policy implementation.
Attending to any related legal matters or ancillary work as required.
Any other relevant duties which are related to Transactions and Fraud Monitoring or KYC and CDD Units.

Education & Experience:

A Legal or Financial qualification
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
Knowledge of existing regulations and directives in relation to AML is required.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English , knowledge of another language will be considered an asset.
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
A proactive approach to situations.
Ability to work on his / her own initiative and also as part of a team.
