AML Officer

A small CSP is currently looking to recruit an AML Officer to join their growing team. The candidate will be working closely with the MLRO and the Partner while benefiting from a great working environment and a supportive team that promotes professional growth.

Responsibilities:

Supporting in the day-to-day duties in relation to client on-boarding as well as off-boarding including due diligence and AML screening
Collecting and verifying documentation such as source of wealth and source of funds
Conducting risk assessments and ongoing monitoring of clients to ensure the company's records are up to date
Supporting the management team to ensure continued compliance with internal AML policies and regulatory requirements
Investigating any adverse media hits and ensuring these have been addressed or mitigated accordingly
Assisting in the production of any internal reports and regulatory submissions to authorities
Assisting in the updates of internal policies and procedures required for effective practices
Supporting during compliance examinations by subject persons
Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the AML team from time to time

Skill-sets and Requirements

At least 2 years of local experience in a similar role with a financial services institution
Proficient with MS office applications
An excellent team player who is also able to work independently
Fluency in written and spoken English

Education & Experience

A qualification in AML/CFT or Compliance is considered a strong asset
