Our customer is the local office for the European Head Quarters of a Global IT Service and Printing company. Having National Operating Companies in most European countries as well as distributors in Central Asia, Middle East and Africa, our customer has a governance headquarter function for the area. Currently recruiting for a Technical Service Consultant to join their growing team. The main focus of the role is to identify and spread best practices in all European national service organisation that drive profitability improvement to the company's business.

Responsibilities: 

  • Take responsibility for Service design processes and lead service business projects to enhance the company's service portfolio together with European, global and local interfaces in marketing, sales, logistics and service 
  • Developing and implementing pan-European service plans that encourage national service organisation to provide services that are more profitable and professional
  • Together with expert departments concerned and top management, develop concepts for service governance that harmonize regional service and support strategies in order to actualize synergies
  • Finding the best service and support procedures and distributing them to the national operating companies
  • Gain intelligence from reported service KPIs and data and offer suggestions for improving local service procedures, especially in the area of service costs
  • Ultimately improving the service profitability and efficiency and increasing customer retention through service quality and customer satisfaction

 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience of business management in Service
  • Best practices of the ITIL framework
  • Strong customer service orientation, target oriented and self-reliant
  • Must be analytical, networked and a strategic thinker
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education & Experience

  • Tertiary education of a scientific nature
  • Experience in Service Design and Education in Service Design
  • Experience in Project Management and Service Consultancy
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Strategy creation and implementation
