Senior Operational Risk Officer

Our client within Banking is looking for a Senior Operational Risk Officer to lead the team

Responsibilities:

 

• Supporting the Operational risk team in managing the Operational Risk framework of the Bank
• Overseeing all Operational and IT risks including management information, key risks and trends
• Supporting the yearly Internal Control Report process
• Managing all Operational Risk related policies and ensuring that standards meet regulatory requirements
• Ensuring that Operational Risk controls are in place 
• Overseeing business continuity planning across the Bank
• Evaluating the effectiveness of major incident recovery and undertaking periodical testing
• Being involved in operational risk awareness programmes
• Ensuring that 3rd party outsourcing risk assessments are being performed and results analysed and shared
• Participating in managing Fraud risk management activities

Skill-sets and Requirements

• At least 4 years’ experience in a banking, preferably in risk management
• Experience in card risk management will be considered a strong plus

Education & Experience

A University degree in Risk Management, Banking & Finance or any other related area
